Riverside Market demo and graffiti

In mid-March, part of the Riverside Market building was torn down to make room for the Seward Co-op’s new location. Also demolished were two vacant houses and the East End Imports building.

With the demolition and subsequent redevelopment of the Riverside Market property, Seward says goodbye, as well, to the graffiti art that has either graced or blighted — depending on your opinion of the art project – the neighborhood while the store was vacant.
